March Madness

Yep, I filled out my bracket this morning. So far there are only 2 people in the "office pool" - that's right, only one other person I work with has any idea of what basketball even is. I like my chances.

On another sports related note, the Chargers have new uniforms. Why, exactly, who knows. But they look pretty good (really, they aren't that different), but I'm not sure how I feel about the white helmet look. Sucks for all those bandwagon fans that rushed out and bought jerseys last season, though. Ha.

So March is also spring break time. My cousin Julie came to SD from Penn State on Sunday with her friends, so we had another Allmaras family gathering at Jenny's. Got caught up on all the family gossip, ate and drank way too much, and sat around in the hot tub. Planned out the next two adventures - Vegas for our cousin Danny's 21st bday Memorial Day weekend/early June, and 4th of July/graduation parties in the desert. Good times, as always.

My brother is on spring break this week, too, so I'm off to Phoenix to see him this weekend and to take my own mini-spring break. It's my mom's bday next week, and my grandparents will be there on Monday, so I'm taking 3 days off next week to hang out with all of them.

My real spring break, though, will be in May in Hawaii - 58 days and counting...
